This is turning into a butterfly trip. |

The train was going slow enough, or the butterflies fast enough, that they would fly alongside, sometimes even into the open train and then right out again, to the delight of the kids. |

When you arrive at the final station, you find this walkway and you're on the way back to the falls. This time, over the river, where the falls begin. |

But first, there was this swirling mass of butterflies, just past the station. No idea what they were up to, but there was a piece of fruit on the ground, but this is not what it was about. |

Getting on the walkway, after 15 minutes or so, one gets to a rest stop where there were several of the not at all shy or elusive Yellow Eyed Bluebird fawning and posing for the tourists (in exchange for food). They were incredibly bold. The area was packed with tourists, and after a few shots I went on my way above the river. |

...where I noticed a small rock sticking just above water level. My trusty telephoto lens revealed this open-air tanning station for turtles. |

This p[ace has been a tourist attraction for a very long time, and before they had the new walkways, this is the remainder of the original ones. |

Continuing on, you end up at a place that looks like, what I called, a hole in the river, and if you wondered where all the people were, this is where they hung out. |

A fantastic place, and in my opinion, the best and most impressive of the whole park. |

You can't top this. No wonder, as soon as people arrive at the park, this is where they go. |

But is is topped, by itself. This part, the cliffs right below your feet, topped it all, in my humble opinion. |

And these birds rule the misty sky here (I am guessing here, but think that they are the Great Dusky Swift that I saw on the lower level). |

And there you have it. The very best of Iguazu Falls. |

To the delight of the people in my compartment, a final butterfly encounter. This one came in and landed on the strap of my daypack. |

I finally let it crawl onto my finger, then held it out, and as the train slowed in a turn, it flew away |

Before the last stop, there was one more huge swirling yellow butterfly mob next to the eco boat tour station. |
